Peak Design began with a Kickstarter campaign and a belief that camera carry deserved the same design rigour as any other piece of everyday equipment. The Everyday Messenger is the product that made that belief concrete — a bag so thoroughly considered that it has remained one of the most recommended carry solutions for photographers and working professionals years after its initial release.
The V2 iteration refines everything that made the original exceptional. The patented MagLatch closure adjusts between four magnetic positions, allowing the bag to expand from its base 13L to 16L without any additional hardware. Inside, two FlexFold dividers can be repositioned to cradle camera bodies, lenses, or everyday items, with a dedicated sleeve for 13-inch laptops and stretchy internal pockets for cables, batteries, and water bottles. The weatherproof 100% recycled 400D nylon canvas is double PU-coated and DWR impregnated — genuinely protective rather than merely water-resistant in marketing language. A luggage pass-through strap slides over roller handles for travel, and the removable shoulder strap adjusts quickly for cross-body or single-shoulder carry.
